China censors 4 U.S. series

Recently, the U.S. media denounced four U.S. popular TV series which had been censored by China on the web, even on legal streaming sites: The Big Bang Theory, NCIS, The Good Wife and The Practice were unfairly censored despite the fact that they are not as subversive or violent as Game of Thrones, the latter being aired on Sunday night on the national CCTV channel.

It might be indeed this state channel which is behind this censorship, as the four U.S. series may soon reappear on air… among its content.
This is actually a way for the Chinese government to fight the growing power of some websites like Youku and Tencent which offer among other access to American series …
